Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 September 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and the materials published on it. By browsing the site, submitting an enquiry, downloading a licensing pack or using the assistant, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Who we are

PaiaFinance advises on and administers applications for Forex and Crypto Asset licences in the Union of the Comoros, and holds the exclusive distribution mandate granted by the Ministry of Finance. References to “we”, “us” and “our” are to PaiaFinance; references to “you” are to the user of this site.

Information only

The content of this website is provided for general information. It is not legal, tax, investment or financial advice, and it does not constitute an offer or a solicitation. You should take your own professional advice before applying for any licence or committing funds.

No client relationship

Browsing this site, downloading a document or sending an enquiry does not create an advisory, fiduciary or client relationship between you and PaiaFinance. Such a relationship arises only when we and you have signed a written engagement, and only on the terms of that engagement.

No guarantee of outcome

Licences are issued by the Ministry of Finance, Union of Comoros, at its sole discretion. PaiaFinance prepares and files applications and liaises with the regulator. Nothing on this site is a promise that any application will succeed, nor that any stated timeline will be met. Regulatory requirements and processing times may change without notice.

Indicative figures

Timelines, capital requirements and fees described on this site, in any downloadable material or by the assistant are indicative and subject to change. Only figures confirmed to you in writing by the PaiaFinance team form part of any engagement, and any figure quoted here is superseded by that written confirmation.

Downloadable materials

Brochures, process flows and licensing packs are made available for your own reference in evaluating our services. They remain our property, are provided as they stand, and may contain commercially sensitive information. You may not republish, redistribute or make them publicly available without our written consent. We may change or withdraw any material at any time, and a document you downloaded previously may no longer reflect current requirements or fees.

The AI assistant

The assistant is an automated system and may be incomplete or inaccurate. It is not a substitute for advice from the PaiaFinance team. Where its answers conflict with written communication from the team, the written communication governs. Please do not enter passwords, banking details, identity document numbers or other sensitive personal data into the assistant.

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry, request a licensing pack or use the assistant, we collect the details you provide in order to respond to you and to assess whether we can assist. You confirm that the information you give is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any system connected to it, interfere with its operation, scrape or harvest content by automated means without our consent, or use the site in any way that breaches applicable law or the rights of others.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, documents and design — belongs to PaiaFinance or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view, download and print material for your own non-commercial reference. Any other reproduction, distribution or modification requires our prior written consent.

Third-party links

This site may link to third-party websites. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

Availability and warranties

The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we give no warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or free from error.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaiaFinance and its officers, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

You agree to hold PaiaFinance harmless from any claim, loss, liability or reasonable cost arising from your misuse of this site or your breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date above shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, save that we may bring proceedings in any jurisdiction where you are established. Matters concerning the issue of a licence remain subject to the laws of the Union of the Comoros and the authority of its Ministry of Finance.
